What is Reiki?
Reiki is a practice that facilitates peace, wellness, healing and balance. It supports you to connect with your natural healing ability.
Reiki aids balancing the being as a whole: spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically while remaining non-invasive and free from religious beliefs. It involves the Reiki practitioner gently placing their hands on various parts of the body or placing their hands slightly above the body.
For your session, you will lay on a treatment table fully clothed with your shoes removed. I will use a blend of gentle touch and hovering my hands slightly above your body, however the session will be personalized to your comfort level. The beauty of Reiki is that it is a truly passive experience and there are no physical requirements to receiving Reiki.
People respond to Reiki in different ways: some people report to feel warmth, some report pulsations throughout the body, and some feel nothing at all. Many however feel relaxed and often fall asleep during a session.
